I am Frank Larkin and was introduced to photography in 1974, by my parents, via a Kodak 110 camera. Since then I have traveled the world, several times, with the military and on my own and seen many "distasteful" sights and yet I always return to my photography to embrace the beauty of the world in which we live.
Recently, I returned home to the Pacific Northwest and rekindled my passion for "capturing the moment" with an older Nikon 35mm, film camera and a keen eye for untouched beauty. Using a film verses digital camera I have been called a "purest" and an "antique". I prefer "purest" for the simple fact that with film there is a moment, a thought, an action, and a result that can never be captured again. The anticipation of developing that second in time is one of the greatest adreniline rushes that I know.

These pictures are raw moments in time captured for eternity. Please enjoy and comments or opinions are always welcome.
